BAB I

 Pendahuluan

 

  1. Latar Belakang

Penghijauan adalah salah satu kegiatan penting yang harus dilaksanakan secara nyata dalam menangani krisis lingkungan. Begitu pentingnya penghijauan sehingga sudah merupakan program nasional yang dilaksanakan di seluruh Indonesia.

Peranan tumbuhan di bumi ini dalam menangani krisis lingkungan terutama di perkotaan sangat penting sehingga sangat tepat jika keberadaan tumbuhan mendapat perhatian serius dalam pelaksanaan penghijauan perkotaan sebagai unsur hutan kota.

Efek Rumah Kaca merupakan salah satu fenomena alam yang disebabkan gas polutan melebihi seharusnya dan penghijauan adalah pemecahan masalah dari fenomena tersebut.

II. Permasalahan

  • Kurangnya lahan hijau di Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta.
  • Sebagai warga negara, memiliki rasa kurang peduli pada lingkungan sekitar.

III.      Rencana Kegiatan

  • Mencari lahan tandus di daerah DKI Jakarta untuk ditanam
  • Sebagai aksi peduli alam, menanam tanaman serta merawat tanaman tersebut.
  • Ikut andil dalam menangani Global Warming.
  • Mengerjakan Final Project

BAB III

Konsep

Perlu kita sadari lingkungan hidup mempunyai keterbatasan, baik dalam hal kualitas maupun kuantitasnya. Dengan kata lain, lingkungan hidup dapat mengalami penurunan kualitas dan penurunan kuantitas. Penurunan kualitas dan kuantitas lingkungan ini menyebabkan kondisi lingkungan kurang atau tidak dapat berfungsi lagi untuk mendukung kehidupan makhluk hidup yang ada di dalamnya. Kerusakan lingkungan hidup dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Berdasarkan penyebabnya, kerusakan lingkungan dapat dikarenakan proses alam dan karena aktivitas manusia.

Salah satu contoh kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan nilai-nilai Kemanusiaan Yang Adil Dan Beradab adalah pelestarian lingkungan. Dengan menggunakan sumber daya alam dengan bijak dan disertai upaya pelestarian lingkungan berarti mencintai bangsa Indonesia dan membantu kelangsungan kehidupan generasi Indonesia selanjutnya. Memanfaatkan sumber daya alam dengan bijak merupakan sebuah upaya membela kebenaran dan keadilan untuk seluruh rakyat Indonesia, karena selama ini seluruh kekayaan alam Indonesia dieksploitasi oleh bangsa lain. Dengan jiwa Pancasila yang kita miliki, seharusnya kita membuka mata dan pikiran. Segenap rakyat dan pemerintah harusnya berjuang merebut kembali kekayaan Indonesia dari bangsa lain demi kesejahteraan Bangsa Indonesia sendiri.

Menurut Undang – Undang Lingkungan Hidup No. 23 Tahun 1997 Pasal 1 yang kemudian disempurnakan oleh Undang – Undang No. 32 Tahun 2009, keduanya mendefinisikan pengertian lingkungan hidup sebagai berikut:

“Lingkungan hidup adalah kesatuan ruang dengan semua benda, daya, keadaan, dan makhluk hidup termasuk manusia dan perilakunya, yang mempengaruhi peri kehidupan dan kesejahteraan manusia serta makhluk hidup lain.”

Sesuai dengan Undang – Undang di atas setiap makhluk hidup harus sadar akan perilakunya yang akan selalu mempengaruhi lingkungan hidup makhluk lain dan juga untuk selalu menjaga lingkungan hidup di sekitarnya. Melalui Undang – Undang tersebut kami sadar betapa pentingnya lingkungan hidup yang kita tinggali ini dan dari kegiatan ini diharapkan kami dapat memperbaiki dan memperindah lingkungan sekitar dengan melakukan penghijauan.

Pertemuan 1

Tanggal     :16 Maret 2017

Kegiatan : Pada pertemuan pertama kami melakukan survei untuk kegiatan sosial kami yaitu menanam pohon. Kami akhirnya memutuskan untuk melakukannya di Taman Kerinci, RW.02, Kelurahan Gunung Kecamatan Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan. Setelah kami memutuskan tempat kami melakukan perizinan untuk menanam. Kami bertemu dengan petugas yang mengurus taman tersebut dan mendapat izin untuk melakukan penanaman di taman tersebut.

Waktu       :11.00-14.30

  1. Kegiatan : Setelah izin kami dapatkan, kami mulai melakukan penanaman di taman tersebut, karena kondisi di sekitar tempat menanam terdapat rumput liar kami memulai kegiatan kami dengan memotong rumput. Setelah itu kami melakukan penanaman. Tanaman yang kami tanam adalah Pucuk Merah sebanyak 2 buah, dan 3 buah Miana Merah berukuran kecil. Kami mendapat bantuan oleh beberapa petugas taman.

Penutup

Kesimpulan

Kesimpulan dari hasil kegiatan menanam pohon ini adalah dapat diketahui bahwa menanam pohon dan menjaga lingkungan tidaklah mudah apabila dilakukan secara individual. Dalam kegiatan, kami menemukan bahwa menanam pohon tidaklah mudah, dan juga pada segi menjaga lingkungan dari global warming kami menemukan tidaklah cukup apabila penghijauan dilakukan secara individu tetapi seharusnya dilakukan secara kolektif.

Seperti kita ketahui, Indonesia menduduki peringkat 20 besar di Asia dalam kategori negara dengan polusi terbanyak. Hal ini dikarenakan masih banyaknya penduduk Indonesia yang menggunakan kendaraan pribadi. Namun, hal itu juga merupakan dampak dari belum adanya transportasi yang memadai untuk rakyat Indonesia. Karena itulah diperlukan aksi menjaga lingkungan yang bersamaan agar polusi dapat dikurangi.

Saran

Untuk terwujudnya berkurangnya polusi dibutuhkan kooperasi dari semua pihak seperti pemerintah dan warga. Bisa dilakukan dengan:

  1. Mempublikasikan secara besar- besaran bahwa lingkungan kita sudah banyak yang tidak terjaga, agar Informasi sampai ke masyarakat karena sekarang terlalu banyak hal yang sedang terjadi dan itu menarik perhatian warga dimana seharusnya warga harus mengetahui lingkungan juga penting.
  2. Menanamkan cinta lingkungan di pendidikan, menghimbau agar di masa yang akan datang bahwa menggunakan transportasi umum dapat membantu lingkungan.

My FEP Experience

My FEP Experience

Saya akan melakukan perkenalan diri terlebih dahulu, nama saya Aji Haryo Poespo. Saya Binusian 2020 jurusan Teknik Informatika. Di artikel ini saya akan menceritakan pengalaman saya selama melakukan FEP.

FEP itu adalah singkatan dari Freshment Enrichment Program atau biasa disebut OSPEK. Kegiatan FEP ini terbagi menjadi 3 tahap yaitu GO (General Orientation), AO (Academic Orientation), dan CLO (Campus Life Orientation). dan di postingan ini saya hanya akan menceritakan GO sampai AO. Karena CLO dilakukan selama satu semester awal dan sampai saat ini saya masih menjalaninya.

GENERAL ORIENTATION

General Orientation atau GO adalah tahap pertama dari FEP. Saya mengikuti GO selama 6 hari dari tanggal 1 Agustus –  6 Agustus 2016. GO di bagi beberapa gelombang karena banyaknya mahasiswa baru yang masuk BINUS University sehingga gelombang untuk pelaksanaan FEP dibagi menjadi 5 gelombang. yaitu ABN, BBN, CBN, DBN, dan EBN. Saya ini termasuk gelombang BBN atau gelombang kedua yang mengikuti GO, di BBN binusian dibagi menjadi beberapa kelas dan saya masuk kedalam kelas BBN 02, selama saya melakukan GO , saya berada di kelas ini.

Di dalam setiap kelas terdapat kakak pendamping  yang disebut Buddy Coordinator atau BC sebanyak 8 orang. Di BBN 02 BC nya termasuk orang orang yang asik untuk diajak ngobrol.

Selama 6 hari melaksanakan GO, para BC lah yang menjelaskan tentang apa saja hal yang ada di BINUS seperti Mars Binus dan Binusian, cara menggunakan BIMAY, UKM dan HMJ, Rules di BINUS, dan juga mendampingi kami sampai GO selesai.

Pada awalnya kami melaksanakan briefing yang dibimbing oleh para BC, tentang apa saja yang perlu dibawa saat melaksanakan GO, dan peraturan – peraturannya. Kami juga di beri tahu cara menyanyikan lagu mars Bina nusantara, dan mars Binusian. Lalu selanjutnya kami dijelaskan tentang perkuliahan, ujian, registrasi dan juga Binus Way. Dalam pertemuan Binus Way ini, mahasiswa dapat mengenal lebih banyak mengenai Universitas Bina Nusantara yang juga menjelaskan tentang cara menjalani kuliah di Universitas Bina Nusantara. Mahasiswa baru juga perlu mengenal visi dan misi dan dapat memahami nilai dan budaya untuk dapat mereka pelajari dan internalisasi dalam kehidupan perkuliahan di Universitas Bina Nusantara.

Kegiatan selanjutnya yang dilakukan adalah Binusian Journey serta Binus Maya, pada sesi ini akan membahas proses perjalanan seorang Binusian selama empat tahun kuliah di Universitas Bina Nusantara. Ada banyak proses yang harus dijalani mulai dari enrichment, performing dan memperoleh achievement. Sedangkan pada sesi Binus Maya kami dijelaskan bahwa Binus Maya merupakan salah satu teknologi informasi utama yang dipergunakan di Universitas Bina Nusantara sebagai sarana informasi baik akademik maupun non akademik. Ini sangat penting bagi setiap mahasiswa untuk mempelajari akses yang disediakan dalam Binus Maya dan mampu mempergunakannya secara mandiri.

Pada saat GO berlangsung terdapat Bunga Rampai dimana UKM dan HMJ mempromosikan diri mereka. Di hari terakhir GO terdapat EXPO dimana kita dapat mendaftarkan diri kita menjadi anggota dari UKM yang diinginkan atau mendaftarkan diri menjadi aktivis di HMJ. Setelah selesai GO saya mendapatkan libur selama 3 minggu karena masih ada 3 gelombang lagi yang belum melaksanakan GO.

INAUGURASI

Setelah 3 minggu liburan, saya dan teman teman BINUSIAN 2020 dari Kemanggisan, Alam Sutera, dan kampus lainnya dikumpulkan di JCC untuk mengikuti acara Inaugurasi, yaitu acara pelantikan BINUSIAN 2020. Acara Inaugurasi ini dibagi menjadi 2 shift, saya mengikuti yang shift 1 yang mulai dari jam 8 pagi sampai 11 siang. Saat Inaugurasi saya dikenalkan oleh staff – staff yang berada di BINUS dan saya juga mendengarkan performance – performance dari band, drama, dan juga beberapa teman satu angkatan.

ACADEMIC ORIENTATION

Setelah Inaugurasi kami melaksanakan Tahap ke-2 FEP yaitu Academic Orientation atau AO. selama melaksanakan AO saya melakukan simulasi kuliah yang selayaknya seperti perkuliahan biasa nantinya. Saya melaksanakan AO selama 2 minggu dari tanggal 5 September – 17 September 2016.

AO atau Academic Orientation adalah kegiatan yang berisi study skills (Reading – Writing, Presentation, note taking), memberikan konsep dasar materi di jurusan masing-masing, pembiasaan awal mengikuti perkuliahan di Universitas Bina Nusantara khususnya di jurusan masing-masing (cara belajar), memperkenalkan tentang graduate competency dan tantangan profesi/karir, termasuk kurikulum. Pada saat AO ini saya diajarkan hal – hal dasar seperti Algoritma, Pseudo Code, Flow Chart, dan juga cara membuat Mind Map yang baik dan benar.

Pada awal AO kami diajarkan Algoritma dan Pseudo Code. Start yang cukup berat menurut saya tapi saya berusaha untuk mengikuti pelajaran tersebut. Materi algoritma yang kami terima diharuskan memakai logika yang kuat. Pseudo Code diajarkan setelah algoritma yang merupakan logika dasar algoritma pemrograman. Setelah itu kami juga diajarkan flow chart untuk pengembangan dalam pemrograman. Setelahnya kami mendapat tugas untuk membuat ringkasan tentang apa yang kita jalani selama kegiatan General Orientation (GO) dan Academic Orientation (AO). Dan pada akhir AO saya juga mengikuti ulangan untuk menguji kemampuan para binusian 2020 yang telah mengikuti AO.

HTTP 2016 (HIMTI Togetherness and Top Performance)

Pada tanggal 10 September Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika (HIMTI), mengadakan sebuah acara yaitu HTTP 2016. Acara ini diadakan untuk menyambut Binusian 2020 fakultas Computer Science. Acara ini diadakan di gedung BPPT 2 di jalan MH Thamrin.

Pada pagi hari sebelum acara dimulai para Binusian 2020 termasuk saya berkumpul di kampus Binus Anggrek untuk menaiki shuttle bus yang disediakan oleh kampus, dan bagi mahasiswa yang ingin menggunakan transport sendiri juga diperbolehkan langsung ke tempat acara tersebut diadakan. Lalu bis shuttle shift 1 pergi terlebih dahulu jika bis sudah terisi penuh.

Ketika para mahasiswa datang di tempat acara diadakan , mereka disuruh mengantri terlebih dahulu. Kemudian jika sudah siap mereka akan berjalan dan berkumpul di dalam gedung. Sebelum masuk ke gedung mereka melihat lihat IT showcase yang diadakan oleh para mahasiswa. Kalau saya sendiri sudah merasa cukup puas setelah mekihat sekilas apa saja yang disajikan di IT showcase dan akhirnya saya diperbolehkan untuk masuk ke dalam gedung.

Kemudian di dalam gedung mereka yg sudah datang menunggu acara sebelum dimulai. Ketika menunggu saya  dan para binusian 2020 yang lain di perlihatkan film Zootopia , agar tidak bosan saat menunggu acara HTTP 2016 dimulai. Dan pada saat film seding klimaks klimaksnya, film tersebut dihentikan karena sudah waktunya acara dimulai. Pada akhirnya acara dimulai, acara diawali dengan pengenalan dari pembawa acara pada HTTP 2016. Setelah itu ada acara hiburan pertama diisi oleh band peanut butter yang beranggotakan Binusian 2020.

Setelah itu ada pemberian sambutan oleh ketua pelaksana HTTP, ketua HIMTI Kemanggisan dan Alam Sutera, lalu setelah itu ada sambutan yang diberikan oleh dean School of Computer Science Binus University Pak Freddy Purnomo, yang diikuti dengan pengenalan pengenalan dosen dan staf yang akan mengajar. Ada juga pemberian sambutan oleh wakil rector Binus yang disampaikan melalui video. Setelah sambutan sambutan tersebut ada acara hiburan kedua yang diisi oleh binusian Adam Sidqon . Setelah itu diadakan games, dan setelah itu ada istirahat yang pertama sebelum acara dilanjutkan kembali.

Kemudian setelah waktu istirahat selesai acara kembali dilanjutkan dengan talkshow dengan para alumni Binus yang telah sukses, mereka menjelaskan apa saja yang mereka lakukan pada saat mereka kuliah, dan apa saja tips agar para mahasiswa bisa berkarya di dunia IT. Lalu ada games lagi, setelah itu ada visualisasi yang bertemakan kegiatan HIMTI.

Dan acara terakhir ada hiburan oleh band , dan setelah itu pada akhirnya dilakukan pelantikan mahasiswa baru fakultas SOCS yang dilakukan secara simbolik, dengan mengenakan almamater Binus. Dan acara tersebut ditutup dengan penampilan oleh DJ, dan pada akhirnya acara tersebut selesai. Setelah acara selesai para Binusian 2020 meninggalkan gedung, dan mengambil kaos souvenir acara HTTP 2016. Setelah saya mengambil kaos souvenir saya langsung menuju tempat dimana bus shuttle menuju kampus Binus Anggrek berada. Setelah bis terisi penuh dengan para mahasiswa bis langsung berangkat menuju kampus. Setelah saya sampai di kampus, saya berpisah dengan teman rombongan saya dan kembali menuju tempat tinggal saya.

HIMTI Togetherness and Top Performance

 

Pada tanggal 10 September Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika (HIMTI), mengadakan sebuah acara yaitu HTTP 2016. Acara ini diadakan untuk menyambut Binusian 2020 fakultas Computer Science. Acara ini diadakan di gedung BPPT 2 di jalan MH Thamrin.

Pada pagi hari sebelum acara dimulai para Binusian 2020 berkumpul di kampus Binus Anggrek untuk menaiki shuttle bus yang disediakan oleh kampus, dan bagi mahasiswa yang ingin menggunakan transport sendiri juga diperbolehkan langsung ke tempat acara tersebut diadakan. Lalu bis shuttle shift 1 pergi terlebih dahulu jika bis sudah terisi penuh.

Ketika para mahasiswa datang di tempat acara diadakan , mereka disuruh mengantri terlebih dahulu. Kemudian jika sudah siap mereka akan berjalan dan berkumpul di dalam gedung. Sebelum masuk ke gedung mereka melihat lihat IT showcase yang diadakan oleh para mahasiswa. Jika sudah merasa cukup puas melihat IT showcase mereka diperbolehkan untuk masuk ke dalam gedung.

Setelah itu ada pemberian sambutan oleh ketua pelaksana HTTP, ketua HIMTI Kemanggisan dan Alam Sutera, lalu setelah itu ada sambutan yang diberikan oleh dean School of Computer Science Binus University Pak Freddy Purnomo, yang diikuti dengan pengenalan pengenalan dosen dan staf yang akan mengajar. Ada juga pemberian sambutan oleh wakil rector Binus yang disampaikan melalui video. Setelah sambutan sambutan tersebut ada acara hiburan kedua yang diisi oleh binusian Adam Sidqon . Setelah itu diadakan games, dan setelah itu ada istirahat yang pertama sebelum acara dilanjutkan kembali.

Kemudian setelah waktu istirahat selesai acara kembali dilanjutkan dengan talkshow dengan para alumni Binus yang telah sukses, mereka menjelaskan apa saja yang mereka lakukan pada saat mereka kuliah, dan apa saja tips agar para mahasiswa bisa berkarya di dunia IT. Lalu ada games lagi, setelah itu ada visualisasi yang bertemakan kegiatan HIMTI.

Dan acara terakhir ada hiburan oleh band , dan setelah itu pada akhirnya dilakukan pelantikan mahasiswa baru fakultas SOCS yang dilakukan secara simbolik, dengan mengenakan almamater Binus. Dan acara tersebut ditutup dengan penampilan oleh DJ, dan pada akhirnya acara tersebut selesai. Setelah acara selesai para Binusian 2020 meninggalkan gedung, dan mengambil kaos souvenir acara HTTP 2016.
